Coral Gables is located southwest of Downtown Miami, and it’s one of the wealthiest neighborhoods of the city. It is also the place where I lived and worked until last January, and when you see how pretty and quite it is and how much it has to offer, you will understand why I enjoyed my life over there so much.
- Cibo Wine Bar– It’s italian and here you can eat a real pizza and also get good wine, cold cuts and cheese in “aperitivo” style
- Tarpon Bend Raw Bar & Grill– awesome cocktails and all about seafood
- Talavera cocina mexicana– the place to be if you are a ceviche lover and if you are lucky you ll get the chance to be entertained by real Mariachi

- Hillstone and Morton’s steakhouse -You find them on the two opposite sides of the same street and they both offer a very fancy location, very good stake and good cocktails, but in case you decide to go, make sure you have a high budget.

- Swine Southern Table and Bar – It’s a different way of eating southern cousin, more chic but still including a lot of pork, burgers, barbecue and all the other authentic southern US food you would expect.
Coral Gables also offers one of the prettiest open air mall, with a very high level store directory and I can say high class customers. It’s Merrick Park Village and if you like high fashion brands, you will prefer this to the more famous Dolphin Mall.
When they told me I was going to live here, I got scared it was going to be boring, until I found out that Coral Gables is also home of the University of Miami. Here I leave you with some pictures of one of the parties hosted by the university…..
